სასკოლო განათლების მნიშვნელობა კარიერის არჩევის დროს
Abstract
Abstract: At the last stage of secondary (basic) education, pupils try to make a decision about future professors. This process is associated with great difficulties, especially if the school education system does not support the learners to figure out their future goals. Student career choice is a multistage formative process that relies on personal characteristics and resources as well as educational experience. At different levels of school, it is important for pupils to provide resources that involve them in self-awareness in order to discover their own interests and skills. It is also important to equip students with decision-making skills. Studies have shown that, along with formal education, students should be able to ensure the benefits of non-formal education, like internships in different institutions, work practices, volunteer programs, etc. The higher the students’ beliefs in their efficacy, more strongly they make decisions about their career path. The paper will also reveal what type of support the school students need to get the informed career choices, and what obstacles they are facing in the transition period. Accordingly, we discuss the importance of school counselor on the basis of the experience of different counties.
