Abstract

Abstract: Over the last few years teaching foreign language has become very popular and it has been given a great attention. Almost every country’s educational system seeks to provide children with foreign languages at the early ages, because foreign languages facilitates communication. Studies have shown that studying languages increases brain cues and strengthens connections between its sections, besides protecting the brain from early aging. The need for learning foreign languages is as old as the human history. Every continental tribes have their own language, the ancient foreign languages were Latin and Greek and a lot of crucial documents were written on this language, also person who could speak this language people called them “intellectual” However, in the 17th century, John Amos Comenius started active talk of teaching foreign languages, and wrote a full course for Latin language, as well as “Didactica Opera omnia”, Comenius was certain that there was a better way of teaching Latin than by the inefficient and pedantic methods then in use. He was one of the first theorists, who created the work on how to teach languages and their teaching methods. In addition to that, from the 16th to the 18th century there were also grammar educational institutions.

From time to time the foreign language became very important and available for people, and they started to actively study it. It is necessary to bring innovative methods in teaching to contribute to the interest of learning foreign languages.

Nowadays people can not do without technology, that should also be adopted in the language lesson and teachers will have opportunities to use multimedia resources.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the need for multimedia use in teaching in terms of its facilitation and stimulation. We try to answer the questions of how the multimedia resources facilitate understanding of the program in the educational process and how they promote the interactive communication at the lesson.
