Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Author Guidelines

General Guidelines and Recommendations for Authors:

The manuscript should address an important or underexplored research problem or question, by means of critical analysis, creative research, and innovative conceptualization, in order to contribute in a novel way to a body of knowledge within social sciences and humanities, while drawing (as appropriate) on a solid theoretical framework along with a rigorous use of applicable methodology.

The manuscript should not include a lengthy literature review. Instead, the text should cite only works that are directly relevant to the immediate research topic, in the process demonstrating any gaps in the literature that may have led to the current analysis and highlighting the current study’s contribution to the ongoing line of scholarly work.

The editorial team is not accepting manuscripts that:

  • Have been previously published in whole or in part in English or are currently under consideration for publication at another journal.
  •  Do not contain original arguments or analyses;
  • Are not analytically rigorous, of high quality, and self-contained;
  • Manuscripts that do not comply with the basic standards of ethical research.
  • Manuscripts that fail to comply with the substantive, stylistic, and formatting requirements of the journal;
  • Authors are responsible for reprint permissions of any images. Please do not send accompanying images if you do not own the copyright or have reprint permissions in hand.

Manuscript Formatting Requirements:

  • An abstract consisting of a minimum of 150 words describing the purpose, methodology,  general findings of the study, research implications, and originality/value.

The first line of each paragraph should be indented, using 1 inch margins on all sides, without adding spaces between paragraphs. Sentences should be separated by a single space.  Manuscripts should not exceed a word count of 8000, including notes and references. The main text can be arranged according to headings/sections if necessary. Any quotations of five or more lines should be blocked and single spaced without quotation marks.

For example: (Zedania 2011) or (Weiss 2010, 98.) For more than three authors, only the name of the first author should be used, followed by et al. (Schonen et al. 2009). Full details appear in the reference list — in which the year of publication appears immediately after the author’s name. For further details authors should refer to the Chicago author-date referencing style.

- Where applicable archival sources should be classified in a category separate from the reference list. Arrange the archival materials section using Arabic numbers according to the chronological order of their appearance in the text. Tkeshelashvili, O., 1980. Mtatsminda Pantheon, Tbilisi: Soviet Georgia [in Georgian]

7.Transliteration: For alphabetic conversion of personal nouns in the body of the text, please refer to the publication of the Library of Congress, ALA-LC Romanization Tables: http://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/roman.html
