The specific requirements inherent to tourism professionals necessitate an appropriate linguistic approach that
goes beyond the simplistic acquisition of lexical and grammatical skills. In this context, discourse analysis proves to be a fundamental pillar in teaching French for tourism, as it provides an in-depth understanding of the specific features found in the textual genres of this field. This research follows this methodological framework, drawing inspiration from Meunier’s (1974) three distinct modalities: enunciation, statement, and message. This approach enables an indepth exploration of tourism brochures, identifying the linguistic and discursive characteristics inherent to this type of material. The outcome of this study is the development of a structured didactic unit comprising contextualized pedagogical activities. The primary
